Collier is a pure passer. He averaged 7.2 assists in just 25.7 minutes last season, shot 49.5% from the field, and reached 500 career assists faster than John Stockton did. That's the only Stockton comparison we'll allow ourselves this year.
He runs the second unit and keeps the pace up when George sits.
2026-27 prediction
The swing skill is the jumper. He shot 27% from three on fewer than two attempts a game. If that gets even to the low 30s, defenses can't go under screens and he becomes one of the best backup guards in the West. If it doesn't, he's still a quality 20-minute player.
