Welcome to Jordan Pushed Off

Why a Utah Jazz fan blog is named after the most-argued-about shove in NBA Finals history, and what we'll be covering this season.

Jordan Pushed Off 1 min read

Every Jazz fan has a version of the story. June 14, 1998, Game 6 of the NBA Finals, the Delta Center. Utah is up one with under a minute to go. Michael Jordan strips Karl Malone in the post, brings it up the floor, and gets to his spot on the right wing. Bryon Russell bites, ends up on the floor, and the shot goes in.

No whistle. Chicago wins. We've been talking about it ever since.

So why name a blog after it?

Because being a Jazz fan means you root hard and you remember everything. This site is where we do both.
